Saturday was my company's Family Day held at Escape Theme Park in Pasir Ris. When we were getting our entrance tickets, that was when we were informed that we get as many tickets as we want. Me and my housemates took 4 for each of us. Since I don't have any family here, I tried asking around in my spiritual family. I was able to find a family that is free that day and so I gave the tickets to Kuya Sonnie and Ate Grace plus some extra tickets for another family that would like to come.
That day came and me and my housemates headed for it with our traditional class picture...

We got to meet a couple of new people from work. Too bad I forgot his name now...

This was taken during the registration period. Good thing that R&D poeple are not required to sign for the attendance because I had trouble looking for my name. It wasn't there under 'S' and not even in 'Y'. I don't know where else I should be looking for it...

Each person that goes in sponsored by my company has a particular bracelet. Wadya know, me and my housemates got all the Team colors but I was the only one who joined the games. Von doesn't like those things. Princess is scared of the sun. Carmie's just wasn't in the mood that day.

I enjoyed the games but it wasn't much of a thrill. I just went for it just to participate and to mingle with other co-workers that I hardly see everyday. It turned out that most people who join those games were from the Manufacturing. I asked the girl at my back which department she was in the company and she went, "Team A".
I said, "what team, you say?"
"Team A. It was called Team MS before."
"Err... alright. I have no idea."
After a couple more discussions, I realized that all I have to know is that she works for our manufacturing. I kinda know which post she takes but that's a little secret for this public blog, I guess...
When I told Cynthia about my game escapade and my little chat with my Yellow teammate, she was laughing so hard that the girl thought I was from Manufacturing, too. She said I should've said that I came from Team Z when the girl asked back which department I worked in. As for me, I don't mind being labeled Manufacturing Girl. I may never know. I might end up in there if I don't want to use much of my brain power anymore...

And so the games went...

There were just a couple of rides. The place was small and jam-packed all the simple rides it could fit in there. It's like an improved
perya. Carmie and Princess were the only ones to try out this Haunted thing. The ride highlight of that place are Anchor's Away and Go Kart (single and double). Other than that, all are for kids.

That was my first time to ride Anchor's Away. I have been seeing it in Cubao back then but I haven't got the chance to go. My QC churchmates were bragging that it was so much fun and that they would want to do it over and over again and so when I went there, I thought that it was just a little thrill. When we were way, way up then the "boat" started going down, I thought that I was in a plane crash or something. I think my heart literally stopped breathing. Von was kidding me that I looked all pale. Well, that is what I'm really feeling. I don't really have the stamina for rides...

It just looks fun... I guess for other people, it is. But I'm never going to ride that "boat" again.

I just put this photo in this portion just to say that my staying under the sun for playing simple games with mostly Manufacturing people paid off. We were 2nd place and I got a free movie pass for it! Go Yellow! :D

My college friends Leo and Lani came to the park later so I had to stay back while my housemates headed home for an early rest. We ate at BK then they went for the Go Kart. Afterwards, we went to Leo's place in Tampines. The guy lived in a condo with 2 huge swimming pools and other cool facilities. Their place is good. The rooms are spacious. I was able to take some some nap before we ate one of the dinner I enjoyed most while being away from home - danggit and sardines with egg. I guess that was the best conclusion of my tiring day...
